Oxenfurt Sewers
Geralt enters the sewer tunnels beneath Oxenfurt via a town well to track a dangerous monster on contract from Olgierd von Everec. Inside, he reunites with the field medic Shani, investigates a slaughtered Redanian soldier squad, and navigates the contaminated waterways to confront the Toad Prince.

Descend into the Sewers
When you arrive at the central square of Oxenfurt during the quest "Evil's Soft First Touches", climb down the ladder inside the town well to enter the Oxenfurt Sewers. Move into the upper sewer tunnels, where dead Redanian soldiers lie scattered along the walkways.

Upper Tunnels and Shani
As you explore the upper sewer chambers, fight off attacking drowners that ambush you along the passage. Soon you will encounter the field medic Shani attempting to give aid to a fallen soldier near a locked iron grate.

Breach the Weakened Wall
Look beside the locked iron grate to spot a weakened brick wall blocking the path. Cast the Aard sign directly at the cracked masonry to break through into the adjacent passage.

Loot the Captain and Reach the Pit
Move past the breached wall into the next chamber and approach the large floor pit opening leading down to the lower sewer level. Inspect and loot the corpse of the fallen Redanian squad captain lying across from the pit opening to acquire the Key to the lower level of the sewers alongside the Redanian Army orders.

Lower Sewer Dungeon
Proceed into the lower sewer level, either by using your acquired key on the locked gate or by taking the pit bypass to drop straight down into the water below. Traverse the toxic sludge and fight through the drowners infesting this underground dungeon area.

Track the Beast to the Lair
Activate your Witcher Senses to find and follow the monster's tracks leading deeper through the contaminated tunnels. Continue following the trail until you reach the beast's inner lair.

Confront the Toad Prince
Upon entering the final boss chamber, Geralt sends Shani away before confronting the monster. Defeat the Toad Prince in its lair to trigger a cutscene and earn experience points, leaving behind no lootable remains.
