Corvo Bianco
Geralt is deeded this dilapidated vineyard estate by Duchess Anna Henrietta as part of his initial payment during the Blood and Wine expansion. By speaking with the majordomo, Barnabas-Basil Foulty, you can invest gold to restore, expand, and personalize the property. The short version
What matters
- •Ordering the general house renovation from Barnabas-Basil Foulty exposes the weakened cellar wall leading to Julius ban Gavh'e's laboratory.
- •The ancient laboratory table inside the cellar unlocks mutagen conversion and potion replenishment.
- •Adding the grindstone and armourer's table outside provides convenient weapon and armor enhancements right on your grounds.
Common mistakes
- •Searching the wine cellar for the hidden laboratory before the initial manor renovation finishes, since the breakable wall is concealed behind a cupboard until that upgrade completes.
What you can skip
- •Searching the estate grounds for blacksmiths, armorers, or resident shopkeepers, as Corvo Bianco features none.

1
Claim the Estate
Arrive at Corvo Bianco during "The Beast of Toussaint" after defeating the shaelmaar at the Tourney Grounds and accepting the vineyard deed from Duchess Anna Henrietta. Survey your new grounds, which encompass the main manor house, stables, greenhouse garden, grape vines, and an underground wine cellar. Before exploring further, note the Reginald Figurine display pedestal positioned just outside, right next to the cellar entrance.
Tip: Note that you will not find any resident shopkeeper merchants, traveling traders, blacksmiths, or armorers on the property.
-
2
Clear the Wine Cellar
Head beneath the estate into the underground wine cellar to investigate a crime scene as part of "The Beast of Toussaint." Inside this subterranean area, you will confront and defeat the Bruxa of Corvo Bianco. Loot her remains to gather Monster Liver, Vampire Blood, Vampire Saliva, Vampire Fang, and a Greater Blue Mutagen.

Commission Renovations
Meet with your majordomo, Barnabas-Basil Foulty, who resides on the grounds outside and inside the main villa. Speak with him to begin the secondary quest "No Place Like Home" and order the primary manor house restoration, which takes three in-game days to finish. You can also commission him for further upgrades, including a guest room, weapon and armor stands, an armor table, a grindstone, stables, a greenhouse garden, and an alchemy lab.
Tip: You can unlock an Armourer's Table and a Grindstone outside the main villa to provide armor and weapon enhancement services.

Uncover Julius ban Gavh'e's Laboratory
After the primary house renovation finishes three days later, return down into the wine cellar where a cupboard previously stood. Cast the Aard sign to blast through the newly exposed weakened wall into Julius ban Gavh'e's hidden laboratory. Search the room to discover Julius ban Gavh'e's letter and activate the ancient laboratory table, unlocking mutagen conversion and potion replenishment services.
Tip: Neither this hidden laboratory nor the letter inside can be permanently missed, as the wall remains accessible to blast open at any time after taking ownership.

Welcome Residents and Guests
Check inside the main villa's kitchen to find Marlene de Trastamara serving as your estate cook if you cured her wight curse. Step out into the front garden outside the villa, where either Yennefer of Vengerberg or Triss Merigold will relax on the outdoor lounger if you pursued a romance with her.
Watch out: The interior trophy "Gold Stick of Joy" and the quest "The Hunger Game" are permanently missed if you fail to lift the curse on the spotted wight by choosing to eat without spoons during "La Cage au Fou".
