Circus of the Last Days
Located on the western edge of Rivington, this wandering interdimensional carnival offers games, unique vendors, and a romance test with a dryad. Attending the main stage show exposes Dribbles the Clown as an undercover doppelganger assassin, initiating a battle alongside circus beasts. Following the altercation, the ringmaster Lucretious tasks the party with scouring the region for the real performer's scattered remains.

The short version
What matters
- •Steal the Djinni Ring from Akabi and spin the wheel to reach the Jungle demiplane for the legendary trident Nyrulna and the Band of the Mystic Scoundrel.
- •Buy the permanent daily Bless camp statue from Stoney and Boney for 5,000 Gold.
- •Unmask and defeat the fake Dribbles on stage to claim the Clown Hammer and kick off the hunt for his severed remains with Lucretious.
- •Steal or negotiate the Clown's Severed Hand from Popper's platter to secure the first required part for the Spellmight Gloves.
Common mistakes
- •Stepping into the Jungle exit portal before looting the painted chest, which permanently locks you out of the legendary weapon Nyrulna.
- •Unlocking Crimson's cage without feeding him meat first, causing the hungry dinosaur to attack your companions during the stage fight.
- •Picking up the Clown's Severed Hand openly without succeeding on Popper's DC 15 check, provoking guards for theft.
- •Progressing past the Morphic Pool point of no return before bringing all seven body parts back to Lucretious, locking you out of the Spellmight Gloves.
What you can skip
- •Accusing Akabi of cheating without the ring in hand, which merely wastes time by turning you into a helpless wheel of cheese.
- •Buying Popper's overpriced "treatoes" and novelty junk.

1
Gaining Entry at the Main Gate
When you arrive at the circus turnstile (X: 22, Y: -75) west of the Rivington waypoint, Klaus and his ghoul Benji will halt you to sniff for tadpoles and bloodshed. You can secure peaceful entrance by passing a DC 15 Persuasion, Deception, or Intimidation check (or an exclusive DC 10 Deception check if you are a Warlock), paying a 200 Gold bribe, or bypassing the gate entirely via *Fly* or jumping from the Open Hand Temple graveyard. Avoid picking a fight with Klaus and Benji at the gate, as turning them hostile causes carnival patrons to flee and ruins your peaceful run through the grounds.
Tip: Warlocks get an easier DC 10 Deception check by claiming to be hired magicians for the troupe.
Watch out: Attacking Klaus and Benji turns the perimeter hostile and drives away panicked circus-goers.

2
Exploring the Vendor Promenade
Head west down the carnival concourse to browse the stalls and recruit valuable camp assets before seeing the show. You can purchase face paints and disguise kits from Zara the Mummy (X: -45, Y: -70), or spend 5,000 Gold at the mud mephit and earth elemental duo Stoney and Boney (X: -90, Y: -70) to commission a stone camp statue of your active character that grants a permanent *Bless* buff every morning. Before continuing, visit Zethino the Dryad (X: -60, Y: -56) to test your bond with your romantic partner for 100 Gold, answering questions correctly to earn massive companion approval.
Tip: Commission the camp statue with a martial or spellcasting character who benefits most from an uninterrupted, permanent daily *Bless* buff.
Watch out: Answering Zethino's questions incorrectly will trigger immediate romantic companion disapproval.

3
Turning the Tables on Akabi's Wheel of Wonders
Approach Akabi the Djinni (X: -68, Y: -75) at the Wheel of Wonders, making sure not to accuse him directly of rigging the game yet or he will transform you into a wheel of cheese. Instead, use a stealthy companion to pickpocket the Djinni Ring from his inventory (or distract him using Bard dialogue) to cut off his secret *Mage Hand* cheat, and then spin the wheel again for 500 Gold. Scoring the jackpot provokes Akabi into banishing that character to the prehistoric demiplane Jungle, where you must immediately loot the Band of the Mystic Scoundrel near the skeleton by the tents and the legendary trident Nyrulna from the DC 20 locked chest near the chasm portal before jumping through to escape.
Tip: Prepare *Invisibility* and high-jump enhancements (or *Fly*) on your designated pickpocket so they can navigate the Jungle's dinosaur packs and reach the portal unhindered.
Watch out: The Jungle cannot be revisited once you step through the exit portal, so leaving without grabbing *Nyrulna* from the gilded chest permanently destroys your chance to obtain it.

4
Calming the Caged Beasts and Visiting Lucretious
Head north toward the cages holding the dilophosaurus Crimson and the displacer beast Shadow-Whiskers (X: -55, Y: -20). Cast *Speak with Animals* and feed Crimson a slab of pork or beef to satisfy his starvation, ensuring he remains pacified rather than rampaging into your party when violence inevitably breaks out later. Afterward, step into the flamboyant tent of the necromancer ringmaster Lucretious (X: -84, Y: -32) to watch her rehearse with her skeleton ensemble and confirm her role as the troupe's leader.
Tip: Feeding Crimson prevents him from aggroing onto your party during the stage brawl, saving party health and spell slots.
Watch out: Picking the cage locks and agitating the beasts early will cause them to slaughter nearby civilians and handlers.

5
Exposing the False Dribbles and Securing the Clown's Hand
Walk east to the circus main stage (X: -42, Y: -36) and watch Dribbles the Clown call for a volunteer assistant from your party. Volunteer yourself or push a companion onto the stage to unveil Dribbles as the doppelganger assassin Fumm the Impostor, triggering a combat against him, disguised circus hands, and his trained attack hounds. Put down the doppelgangers, loot the Clown Hammer from the impostor's corpse, and then proceed west to Popper’s stall (X: -89, Y: -55) where you can snatch the Clown's Severed Hand from his serving platter using stealth or a DC 15 Persuasion, Deception, or Intimidation check.
Key fight: Dribbles the Clown (Doppelganger Infiltration)Tip: Area-of-effect spells like *Hypnotic Pattern* or *Fireball* make short work of the hounds and circus doppelgangers bunched around the stage.
Watch out: Grabbing the Clown's Severed Hand without stealth or without passing Popper's dialogue check triggers a theft crime that brings guards down on you.

Launching the Search for Dribbles
Return to Lucretious in her tent (X: -84, Y: -32) to inform her of the doppelganger's death and show her the grisly discovery from Popper's stall. Agreeing to retrieve the remaining six body parts scattered across the city outside the circus officially begins the quest Find Dribbles the Clown. Make note that Lucretious stays here until you hand over all seven severed parts, at which point she rewards you with the Spellmight Gloves and packs up the circus for good.
Tip: You can present the severed hand directly to Lucretious to update the quest log before hunting the remaining six parts across the rest of the city.
Watch out: If you kill Lucretious or enter the point of no return at the Morphic Pool before turning in all seven severed body parts, the quest fails and the Spellmight Gloves become permanently unobtainable.
