The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time guide · Fifth adult dungeon to save the Spirit Sage

The Spirit Temple is the desert dungeon where Link must conquer trials as both a child and an adult to awaken the Spirit Sage. Child Link navigates small crawlspaces to retrieve the Silver Gauntlets, while Adult Link uses those gauntlets to move massive stones and acquire the Mirror Shield. Sunlight-reflection puzzles culminate in a climb to the temple's colossal statue to face the twin witches Koume and Kotake.

Iron Knuckle

Weak to Sword strikes or bombs

Striking off its armor makes it swing its battleaxe faster.

Twinrova

Weak to Elemental magic reflected via Mirror Shield, followed by sword slashes

Absorb the opposite magic type three times with the shield to stun the combined form.

Anubis

Weak to Fire magic, Din's Fire, or Fire Arrows

Mirrors Link's movement and instantly dies if lured into fire.

Beamos

Weak to Bombs or Bombchus

Drops an explosive into its spinning eye to destroy it.

Like Like

Weak to Bow, Hookshot, or Master SwordSteal / drop stolen equipment

Can eat Link's Goron Tunic or Hylian Shield if it catches him.

Wallmaster

Weak to Master Sword or Bow

Drops from the ceiling when its shadow expands around Link.

Armos

Weak to Bombs or sword strikes after activation

Awakens when touched and explodes shortly after defeat.

Tips

You must enter as Child Link first, as Adult Link cannot fit into the initial crawlspace that leads to the dungeon's first half.
The Mirror Shield reflects both natural sunlight to melt sun faces and magical elemental attacks fired by Koume and Kotake.
You can use Nayru's Love to avoid taking damage from Iron Knuckle axes while practicing sword spacing.
