Lake Hylia
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time guide · Investigating the dried-up lake
← All areas in this guide
When you arrive as an adult, Lake Hylia has completely drained due to the curse placed on the Water Temple. You must navigate the dry basin and enter the Water Temple at the bottom of the lake to break the curse and restore the water level. After obtaining the Longshot from inside the temple, you can also access new collectibles and warp points around the lake.
