The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time guide · Final dungeon to confront Ganondorf

Ganon's Castle is the final dungeon where Link must dispel six elemental barriers protecting the central tower. Each barrier corresponds to an awakened Sage and requires using items obtained throughout the game to solve themed puzzle rooms. Once all barriers are deactivated, Link ascends the central staircase to face Ganondorf and escape the collapsing structure.

Stationary laser-firing statue that is destroyed once an explosive detonates on its body.

Iron Knuckle

Weak to Jump slashes and bombs

Heavily armored warrior whose exterior plates break off halfway through the fight, increasing its movement speed.

Dinolfos

Weak to Sword attacks or Deku Nuts

Agile reptile that breathes fire and leaps backward to dodge attacks.

Stalfos

Weak to Megaton Hammer or sword thrusts

Skeleton soldier that can jump attack and block strikes with a shield.

Tips

Equip the Lens of Truth in the Shadow and Light barrier rooms to reveal invisible paths and false walls.
Use Nayru's Love or the Megaton Hammer to safely deal with the falling boulders and rolling Goron spikes in the Fire Barrier room.
