Link wakes up in his home village and is tasked by Navi to visit the Great Deku Tree. Before Mido will grant passage to the tree, Link must explore the village to obtain a sword and a shield. Once equipped, Link speaks to Mido and gains access to the path leading to the game's first dungeon.
