The Pitt

Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition guide · Starting The Pitt DLC
← All areas in this guide

The DLC begins after tuning into Wernher's Distress Signal and traveling to the radio broadcast location near the northern border of the Capital Wasteland. To infiltrate the industrial settlement of The Pitt, you must help Wernher acquire a set of slave rags, cross the bridge to the city, and surrender your equipment to blend in as an enslaved worker. Once inside, your goal is to survive forced labor, locate a rumored cure for the local mutation disease, and choose a faction to support.

  • High radiation levels and Trogs make the Steelyard hazardous, so bring RadAway and an Auto-Axe for close-quarters fighting.
