DARK SOULS™: REMASTERED guide · Beneath New Londo Ruins
← All areas in this guide
The Abyss is a pitch-black void beneath New Londo Ruins accessible only after draining the floodwaters and equipping the Covenant of Artorias ring. Players enter to defeat the Four Kings in order to acquire a Bequeathed Lord Soul Shard for the Lordvessel. After the boss battle, a bonfire appears along with the primordial serpent Darkstalker Kaathe, provided the player has not yet placed the Lordvessel with Kingseeker Frampt.
