Northern Undead Asylum (Revisited Asylum)
The player returns to the Northern Undead Asylum via the giant crow's nest in Firelink Shrine to explore newly unlocked and altered areas. This revisit features tough new enemies, Oscar of Astora turned hostile, the Stray Demon boss lurking beneath the broken floor, and the item needed to enter the Painted World of Ariamis.

Massive boss found by dropping through the collapsed floor in the asylum's central hall that uses heavy magic blast attacks.
Hostile NPC encountered in the room where he died earlier; attacks with a straight sword and Crest Shield.
Found guarding the cell corridor where the Peculiar Doll is located; drops titanite chunks or weapons.
Found in the hallway leading to the player's original cell area; hits very hard with high poise.
Extremely dangerous in groups due to high-damage multi-hit flurries.

- Snuggly the Crow: Trades items dropped into her nest for valuable goods like Twinkling Titanite and the Ring of Fog upon reloading the game.
Tips
- Equip the Fall Control spell or strip off heavy armor to minimize falling damage when dropping down to fight the Stray Demon.
- Stray Demon is extremely susceptible to bleed-inflicting weapons such as the Bandit's Knife, Morning Star, or Uchigatana.
- Retrieve the Rusted Iron Ring while here, as it restores normal movement speed in deep water and poison swamps for later areas like Blighttown.
