Chasm of the Abyss
This dark, cavernous area lies beneath Oolacile Township and represents the source of the spreading Abyss. Players must descend winding stone paths and rocky ledges while fending off spectral entities to reach Manus, Father of the Abyss. Along the way, players can rescue the young Great Grey Wolf Sif and locate the captive Princess Dusk.

Enemies
Floats toward the player to deal contact damage; they come in small, medium, and giant sizes.
Fires dark magic projectile attacks from high vantage points across the chasms.
Aggressive melee enemies that rush down the player on narrow paths.
The final boss of the DLC who uses heavy physical sweeps, slam combos, and powerful dark magic spells.
Shops and people
- Sif (Summon Sign): Available as a phantom summon inside the boss arena for Manus if rescued earlier in the Chasm
Tips
- Equip and use the Silver Pendant tool to create a temporary protective barrier that deflects Manus's dark magic projectile attacks.
- Equipping a Light Cast spell, the Sunlight Maggot, or a Skull Lantern greatly helps in spotting safe footing on the dark downward slopes.
