Route 118

Pokémon Emerald guide · Heading east from Mauville
← All areas in this guide

Route 118 connects Mauville City in the west to Route 119 in the north and Route 123 in the east, divided by a central river. Crossing the water requires the move Surf, after which the player encounters Steven Stone, who speaks with them before departing. This route acts as a gateway opening up the eastern, rainy half of the Hoenn region.
