Littleroot Town is the quiet starting town where you arrive inside a moving truck to settle into your new home. After setting your clock and introducing yourself to your rival next door, you must head north to Route 101 to rescue Professor Birch and choose your starter Pokémon. Once Birch is saved, you return here to receive your starter permanently and later collect the Pokédex and Running Shoes.

Tips

Setting the wall clock in your bedroom activates the internal time system, which influences daily events and tides throughout the game.
Holding the B button while wearing the Running Shoes lets you travel twice as fast, but running inside buildings is not allowed.
