Fortree City

Pokémon Emerald guide · Sixth gym challenge

Fortree City is a treetop settlement where treehouses are connected by rope bridges. The path to the local Pokémon Gym is initially blocked by an invisible obstacle that requires you to obtain the Devon Scope from Steven on Route 120. Once the invisible Kecleon is revealed and dealt with, you can challenge Gym Leader Winona for the Feather Badge.

Tips

Equip Ice-type and Electric-type moves before challenging the Gym, as all of Winona's Flying-type Pokémon are vulnerable to them, with several taking 4x damage from Ice or Electric.
