Team Magma has invaded the Mossdeep Space Center to steal rocket fuel for their plans at Mt. Chimney. You must fight your way up through grunts on the ground floor to reach the upper level. Once on the second floor, you team up with Steven Stone in a multi battle to defeat Magma Admin Tabitha and Magma Leader Maxie.

Tips
- In the multi battle with Steven, avoid using wide-area moves like Earthquake or Surf unless your partner's active Pokémon is immune, as they will hit Steven's Pokémon.
- Bring strong Water-type or Ground-type Pokémon to counter the multiple Fire- and Rock-type Pokémon fielded by Team Magma.
- Visit Steven's house in north-west Mossdeep City after saving the Space Center to receive the HM08 Dive from him.
