Granite Cave is a multi-floor cavern located on Dewford Island. To proceed, the player enters the cave to deliver the Letter from Mr. Stone to Steven Stone, who is resting in the deepest chamber. While navigating deeper floors normally requires the Flash HM to see, Steven can be reached via a lit path directly through the upper entrance floor.

- Hiker: Gives HM05 (Flash) for free when spoken to near the entrance
- Steven Stone: Gives TM47 (Steel Wing) in exchange for the Letter from Devon Corporation
Tips
- You do not need to use Flash to find Steven, as the room he resides in can be accessed without crossing through the dark basement floors.
- Makuhita can be caught here and traded to an NPC in Rustboro City for a Slakoth, or used directly to counter Brawly's Dewford Gym.
