Pokémon Emerald guide · Shopping and Team Aqua hideout

Lilycove City is a major coastal hub housing the massive Lilycove Department Store, the Move Deleter, and the Lilycove Museum. Your rival challenges you to a battle in front of the department store before you can enter Team Aqua's hideout. Clearing the Team Aqua Hideout on the eastern cove is required to disperse the Wailmer blocking the water route toward Mossdeep City.

Lilycove Department Store 2F: General trainer goods including Poké Balls, Potions, and Escape Ropes
Lilycove Department Store 3F: Stat-boosting battle items like X Attack and permanent vitamins like Protein, Iron, and Carbos
Lilycove Department Store 4F: Powerful offensive and defensive TMs such as Fire Blast, Blizzard, Thunder, and Hyper Beam
Lilycove Department Store 5F: Secret Base decorations, mats, posters, and dolls
Lilycove Department Store Rooftop: Vending machines selling Fresh Water, Soda Pop, and Lemonade, as well as occasional rooftop sales
Move Deleter: Forgets any known move for a Pokémon, including HM moves, free of charge

Tips

You must infiltrate and clear the Team Aqua Hideout before the Wailmer pod blocking Route 124 will move away.
Be sure to collect the Master Ball in the hideout before finishing the Aqua plotline there, as the hideout becomes inaccessible later in the game.
