Route 113

Pokémon Emerald guide · Traveling to Fallarbor

Route 113 connects Route 111 to Fallarbor Town and is perpetually covered in falling volcanic ash from Mt. Chimney. Players walk through mounds of ash to collect it for crafting items and must battle several trainers, some of whom are hidden under ash piles. Navigating westward leads directly into Fallarbor Town.

Tips

Walking through ash mounds will scatter the ash, which gathers into your Soot Sack and occasionally reveals hidden items or trainers.
Running back and forth across the tall grass while the Soot Sack is equipped quickly collects the thousands of ash steps needed for the Glass Workshop items.
