Route 115

Pokémon Emerald guide · Exploring north of Rustboro

Route 115 is a coastal route located directly north of Rustboro City that connects to Meteor Falls. While the southern beach area can be visited early in the game, the northern forested hills and plateaus require the Surf HM to explore. Players return here later to battle high-level trainers and collect rare wild Pokémon like Jigglypuff and Swablu.

Tips

Come back with a Mach Bike after obtaining Surf, as several elevated plateaus in the northern area require riding up muddy slopes.
You can find wild Jigglypuff here, which is useful since it is one of the few locations in Hoenn where it appears naturally.
