Meteor Falls

Pokémon Emerald guide · Investigating Team Magma/Aqua

Meteor Falls is a cavern connecting Route 114 and Route 115 where you interrupt a confrontation between Team Magma and Team Aqua over Professor Cozmo's meteorite. You must cross the bridge inside to trigger a cutscene and a double battle against Team Magma members alongside Aqua Admin Shelly. After driving Team Magma away, speak with Professor Cozmo before exiting out to Route 115 or returning to Fallarbor Town.

Tips

You cannot explore the upper waterfalls or deep inner rooms of the cave during this first story visit, as you need HM07 Waterfall to reach them later.
Bring Water-type or Ground-type moves to quickly defeat the Magma Grunt and Tabitha's Numel.
