Leon explores Chief Bitores Méndez's manor during Chapter 2 to find a key enabling him to proceed toward the lake. Inside, you must solve a combination lock on a ground-floor wardrobe and an emblem lock on the second floor to retrieve the Insignia Key. Entering the master bedroom triggers a cutscene with Méndez, after which Leon escapes the manor through an upstairs window.
