Key fights
Enemies: A large horde of Villager Ganados (melee, dynamite throwers, shielded variants)
Threats: Ranged dynamite tosses that inflict massive blast knockdown, wooden shields blocking frontal gunfire, high ground elevation advantage, and flanking routes from elevated walkways
Weaknesses and resistances: Dynamite sticks carried by throwers (can be shot to detonate in their hands), exposed feet beneath wooden shields, headshot vulnerability to stagger for melee kicks
Tactics: Hold the chokepoint inside the central fortified building or use ladders to control the rooftops, shoot dynamite-wielding Ganados before they throw to wipe out clusters, and use flash grenades to stun groups when retrieving the Emblem piece
Rewards: Hexagonal Emblem (Part of the door insignia), Spinel, hand grenade, ammo, and miscellaneous enemy drops
Enemies
Attacks with axes, knives, dynamite, and pitchforks; will flank via ladders and elevated walkways
Tips
- Shoot Ganados holding lit sticks of dynamite while they are near other enemies to cause an explosion that clears groups quickly.
- You can use the wooden barricades and windows in the shacks to bottleneck enemies and execute melee attacks as they climb through.
- Turn the crank mechanism next to the gate only after you have inserted the Hexagonal Emblem, which must first be rotated into the proper orientation to fit the slot.
