Lakeside Settlement (Chapter 3)

Resident Evil 4 guide · Returning to the boat
← All areas in this guide

After obtaining the boat fuel from the Fish Farm, Leon returns to the dock at the Lakeside Settlement to refuel the boat. You can explore the settlement once more to defeat remaining Ganados, unlock previously inaccessible areas using the Insignia Key, and interact with the merchant. Refueling the motorized boat at the dock triggers the crossing to the lake and concludes the chapter's objectives in this sector.

Tips

  • Always shoot the support stick to close the well lid before shooting the lantern containing the Pearl Pendant, or it will fall in the muck and lose most of its trade value.
  • Do not board the fueled boat until you have opened the locked Insignia gate, as progressing onto the lake initiates the Del Lago boss encounter.
