Leon and Ashley enter the hedge maze Courtyard in Chapter 9 to lower the portcullis blocking the path to the Grand Hall. You must navigate the winding paths to locate and lower three separate flags to raise the bridge. Hostile infected Colmillos and zealots roam the maze, requiring careful route planning and defensive escorting of Ashley.

Fast mutated hounds that emerge from cages and jump over hedges; use shotguns or flash grenades to quickly dispatch them

Zealot

Weak to Head

Cultists patrolling the maze, some carrying scythes or shields; they will attempt to capture Ashley if separated

Tips

Flash grenades instantly kill Colmillos whose Plaga parasites have burst from their bodies.
Order Ashley to stay close while moving through the maze so she does not get flanked by wandering Colmillos in the narrow hedgerow lanes.
