Fallout: New Vegas guide · Traveling north from Nipton

Novac is a small roadside settlement centered around the Dino Dee-lite Motel and a giant novelty dinosaur statue. Players come here following the main quest trail to track Benny, which leads to speaking with Manny Vargas or Craig Boone. The town also serves as a hub for several side quests, including investigating a slave-trading conspiracy and clearing out nearby ghouls at the REPCONN test site.

Lacey: Caravan supplies, food, drinks, and repairs (located just southwest of town at the Mojave Outpost, though she frequently interacts with the route to Novac)

Tips

You can permanently acquire Craig Boone as a combat companion by solving the "One for My Baby" quest and leading the guilty party in front of the dinosaur at night.
Renting a room from Jeanie May Crawford grants you a permanent player housing room at the Dino Dee-lite Motel complete with safe storage.
