Fallout: New Vegas guide · Arriving in the New Vegas area

Camp McCarran serves as the primary headquarters for the New California Republic in the Mojave Wasteland, located inside the pre-war McCarran International Airport. The area is dense with major NCR side quests, including interrogating a captured Legion centurion, hunting Fiend leaders, and exposing a spy within the ranks. Players can also utilize the secure Monorail located inside the terminal to travel directly onto the New Vegas Strip without paying the credit check.

Tips

Complete the quest to discover the spy before attempting to use the Monorail, or diffuse the bomb inside the train quickly, otherwise the Monorail will be permanently destroyed.
Bring Fiend leader heads directly to Major Dhatri outside the terminal to claim significant cap bounties during the quest "Three-Card Bounty."
