FINAL FANTASY VI guide · Celes arrives just as Kefka strikes the town with the Light of Judgment and finds Sabin.

Upon arriving in Tzen in the World of Ruin, Kefka strikes the town with the Light of Judgment, damaging a mansion and trapping a young child inside. Celes discovers Sabin physically holding up the collapsing building and must rush through the monster-infested interior to rescue the child within a six-minute time limit. Once Celes safely flees the structure with the child, the house collapses completely and Sabin officially rejoins the party.

Seraph Magicite can be obtained by navigating behind the Relic Shop into the northeastern tree line to speak with a hidden scoundrel, who offers the Magicite for just 10 Gil if it was not purchased during the World of Balance.

Tips

Equip Celes with a Ribbon or a Jeweled Ring before stepping into the house, as petrification results in an instant Game Over when solo.
Sleep at the Inn for free prior to talking with Sabin to enter the burning mansion with maximum HP and MP.
Equip Sprint Shoes to move quickly through the mansion and escape from random encounters if the six-minute timer begins running low.
Exploit the Undead nature of the Nightwalkers by targeting them with a Phoenix Down or casting Fire spells to wipe them out instantly.
