In the World of Ruin, submerged Figaro Castle can be ordered to travel underground between the Figaro desert and Kohlingen. Along the way, the mechanism collides with a subterranean geological stratum, allowing the party to halt movement and investigate. Disembarking through an opened doorway at the back of the castle's prison cells grants access to the Cave to the Ancient Castle.

Master MechanistObtain all eight of Edgar's Tools commands. You can purchase most Tools at Figaro Castle, find the Chainsaw in Zozo, and obtain the final Tools (Debilitator and Drill) from the Figaro Castle merchant in the World of Ruin.

  • Leading the party with Edgar slashes the prices of all merchandise at the castle shops by half.
