Kohlingen
Kohlingen is a small town where the party visits during both eras to uncover key character backstories and recruit party members. In the World of Ruin, Figaro Castle surfaces nearby in the desert, allowing players to enter the tavern and convince a grieving Setzer to rejoin the cause. The village functions as the final staging ground to restock supplies and upgrade weapons before traveling southwest to Darill's Tomb to uncover the airship Falcon.

Tips
- Purchase a generous supply of Holy Water from the local item shop before heading out, because the undead monsters filling Darill's Tomb regularly inflict Zombie status.
