This shrine teaches Link how to use the Stasis Rune to freeze objects in time. Players must halt moving machinery and obstacles to safely cross gaps and clear pathways. The trial concludes by using a two-handed weapon to store kinetic energy into an immovable boulder, launching it out of the way.

After acquiring the Iron Sledgehammer, turn around and follow the narrow platform leading behind the rolling boulder chute to discover a hidden chest containing a Traveler's Shield.

Tips

Striking a frozen object multiple times with the Iron Sledgehammer stores kinetic energy, which releases all at once when Stasis expires to send the object flying in the direction of the arrow indicator.
You do not need to wait for the full Stasis timer to expire; you can manually cancel the effect early by aiming at the frozen object and pressing the rune activation button again.
