The Central Tower Region encompasses Hyrule Field and the surrounding plains directly south of Hyrule Castle. The area is heavily patrolled by dangerous Guardian variants and dotted with ancient ruins, remnants of the Great Calamity, and scattered shrines. Traversing this region requires caution, as the open terrain leaves players exposed to long-range Guardian laser attacks while climbing Central Tower or exploring ruined settlements.

Beneath Central Tower, several broken Guardian husks can be searched using the interact prompt to gain free Ancient Screws, Ancient Springs, or Ancient Gears.Shooting the floating acorn inside the hollow log near the Exchange Ruins reveals a hidden Korok.

Enemies

Guardian Stalker

Weak to Ancient Arrows to the central eye or parrying its laser with a shieldSteal / drop weapons cannot be stolen

Its mobility can be completely eliminated by destroying each of its six legs with heavy weapons.

Decayed Guardian

Weak to Direct hits to the eye with arrows or parrying laser blasts

Stationary Guardians embedded in the ground around Central Tower and Hyrule Field.

Blue Bokoblin

Weak to Headshots with bow and arrowSteal / drop equipped weapon or shield using Shock attacks

Roams in hunting parties on horseback across the open plains of Hyrule Field.

Tips

Use Cryonis or the surrounding stone blocks to break line of sight when the Decayed Guardians target you as you ascend Central Tower.
Parrying a Guardian Stalker's laser beam with a perfectly timed shield parry will deflect the blast directly back into its eye, defeating it in three hits.
Equipping the Ancient Armor set or taking high-level Defense-boosting elixirs drastically mitigates the lethal one-shot potential of Guardian laser blasts throughout this zone.
