← All areas in this guide

Keh Namut Shrine is a trial located atop Mount Hylia on the Great Plateau, designated as the Cryonis Trial. Inside, Link obtains the Cryonis Rune from the Guidance Stone to summon ice pillars out of bodies of water. You must use these ice pillars to traverse deep water, open gates, and elevate ramps to reach the monk at the end.

Tips

  • You can use an ice block beneath the metal gate to force it upward so you can walk underneath.
  • Create an ice block directly beneath one side of the seesaw slab to lock it at an incline, allowing you to walk up to the monk's platform.
  • You will need cold resistance, such as the Warm Doublet or Spicy Meat and Seafood Fry, to survive the climb up Mount Hylia to reach this shrine.
