Hyrule Castle

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild guide · Confronting Calamity Ganon
← All areas in this guide

Hyrule Castle serves as the final dungeon of the game, shrouded in Malice and heavily fortified by Guardian stalkers and turrets. Link can explore its multi-layered interior passages and outdoor parapets to gather powerful late-game gear or bypass them directly to reach the Sanctum. Entering the Sanctum immediately initiates the final encounters against Calamity Ganon and Dark Beast Ganon.

Tips

  • Equipping the full set of Ancient Armor upgraded twice significantly reduces the devastating damage dealt by Guardian laser blasts.

  • You can scale the exterior cliffs and waterfalls using Revali's Gale and the Zora Armor to bypass most interior combat encounters entirely.
