Lost Woods
The Lost Woods is a mystical, fog-covered forest located inside the Great Hyrule Forest region that leads directly to Korok Forest. Stepping off the correct path triggers a dense white fog that sends Link back to the entrance or the last checkpoint. To successfully navigate the maze, players must observe the direction the wind blows the embers of lit torches.

Small bats that appear in small groups during nighttime in the early parts of the woods.
Skeletal Stalkoblins and Stalmoblins that spawn from the ground if traveling at night.
Tips
- Equip and light a handheld torch, walk slowly, and follow the exact direction the flying sparks and embers blow to navigate the unlit second half of the path.
- Keep the camera positioned behind Link to clearly see which way the torch embers drift when the wind shifts direction.
- Activating the Magnesis rune will highlight metal treasure chests hidden inside dead trees through the thick fog.
