The Lanayru region is suffering from a strange sludge falling from the sky that pollutes the waters and threatens Zora's Domain. Link teams up with Prince Sidon to investigate the source of the sludge, unlock sky ruins, and restore clear water to the domain. To complete the phenomenon, Link must traverse floating water ruins and conquer the Water Temple.

The Ancient Zora Waterworks can be drained by destroying giant rock obstructions plugging the drainage pipes using bomb flowers or heavy weapons.Shooting an arrow fused with a King's Scale through a droplet-shaped formation of floating rocks on Floating Scales Island reveals a light beam marking the way forward.

Tips

Fusing Splash Fruit or Chuchu Jelly to your arrows allows you to clean up patches of sludge from a safe distance.
Sidon's power envelops Link in a shield of water that blocks one attack and can be swung to unleash a ranged water wave.
Wearing the Zora Armor allows Link to swim directly up waterfalls, making traversal across the flooded terrain and floating sky ruins much faster.
