Gloom's Lair
Gloom's Lair is the lowest point beneath Hyrule Castle where Link faces the climax of the story. Link must first survive waves of Ganondorf's army before engaging Demon King Ganondorf and his transformed dragon state in consecutive final battles. Defeating these encounters completes the main questline and triggers the game's ending sequence.
Enemies
Multiple waves of Bokoblins, Lizalfos, Mobelins, and Lynels that fight before the final boss.
Fights using a sword, spear, and club; his Gloom attacks permanently reduce maximum hearts unless cleansed.
The massive final phase fought in the sky above Hyrule while aided by the Light Dragon.
Tips
- Cook plenty of meals containing Sundelions before descending, as Ganondorf's attacks deplete your maximum heart containers until restored with the "Sunny" effect.
- Perfect Dodges and Flurry Rushes are essential against Ganondorf's first forms, but beware that he can dodge your counterattacks and attempt to strike back in Phase 2.
- During the Demon Dragon phase, you take no fall damage if you miss a landing, as the Light Dragon will catch you and carry you back up.
- The Master Sword will not run out of energy or break while fighting Ganondorf and the Demon Dragon.
