Gloom's Lair: The final confrontation
This is the deepest chamber beneath Hyrule Castle where Link engages in the sequential climax of the game. You must defeat Ganondorf's summoned army, the Demon King himself in multiple combat forms, and finally the Demon Dragon in the skies above.
Enemies
Waves of Bokoblins, Lizalfos, Moblins, and Gibdos that your Sage avatars help fight.
Wields a sword, spear, and club, coating attacks in maximum-heart-shattering gloom.
In his second phase he summons gloom phantom duplicates and dodges your own Flurry Rushes.
A massive airborne dragon phase where the Light Dragon catches you when you fall.
Tips
- Cook plenty of meals using Sundelions beforehand to recover gloom-broken heart containers during the battle.
- Fuse your strongest materials, such as Silver Lynel Saber Horns, to the Master Sword, as it glows with unlimited durability against Ganondorf.
- In the second phase, Ganondorf will dodge your Flurry Rush; prepare to dodge his immediate counterattack to trigger a secondary Flurry Rush of your own.
- During the Demon Dragon phase, dive directly toward the glowing fleshy clusters along its spine, strike them, and allow the Light Dragon to catch you after the updraft.
