Cleyra Settlement
The Cleyra Settlement is invaded by Alexandria's forces led by Beatrix after the protective sandstorm dissipates. Zidane and his party must navigate the burning, collapsing tree city, fighting off Alexandrian Soldiers and Black Mages while attempting to guide fleeing Burmecian refugees to safety. The sequence culminates in a cathedral confrontation against Beatrix before the entire settlement is completely eradicated by the summon Odin.

The fight automatically concludes when she casts Stock Break, reducing the entire party's HP to 1.
Attacks individually or in pairs throughout the town paths.
Uses mid-level elemental magic spells and supports the soldier units.
Tips
- To ensure every civilian survives, always direct them to the right path when prompted during the town's evacuation.
- Equip the Bandit ability on Zidane and use slow or defensive buffs quickly during the boss battle, as you have limited turns to steal Beatrix's rare gear before she uses Stock Break.
- Cleyra is permanently obliterated by Odin following the sequence, making all uncollected treasures in the tree and settlement completely inaccessible for the rest of the game.
