Alexandria (Disc 4)

FINAL FANTASY IX guide · Visiting the town after the events of the game

Alexandria has been largely rebuilt after its destruction on Disc 3, though reconstruction is still ongoing in several areas. You can freely explore the streets, visit rebuilt shops, and play card games with local residents before heading into the endgame. It also serves as a location for late-game side activities, card-gathering, and discovering leftover treasure.

The Nero Brothers' running mini-game is no longer available, but you can jump rope in the steeple bell tower using Vivi or Eiko to earn rare cards and key items if you have not completed it yet.Challenging the weapon shopkeeper to a Tetra Master card game allows you to win high-level and rare beast cards.

Tips

Be sure to talk to Kupo in the steeple to deliver any remaining letters for the Mognet central questline.
Many of the townspeople offer new Tetra Master card challenges on Disc 4, making it an excellent spot to farm collector points.
