Black Mage Village

FINAL FANTASY IX guide · Visiting the village to find the black mages

The party arrives at the hidden Black Mage Village in the Conde Petie Mountain Path area to investigate the sentient black mages living there. You explore the settlement, watch Active Time Events, and advance the story by talking to the villagers and visiting the cemetery and chocobo stable. Afterward, you return to the inn to trigger key conversations before leaving to continue through Conde Petie.
