1. 1

   Castle Approach and Gatekeeper's Choice

   After overcoming Margit, the Fell Omen at the castle entryway, you will reach the Stormveil Main Gate Site of Grace. Speak to Gatekeeper Gostoc in the adjacent side room, where he offers to unlock the main gate or advises sneaking along the cliffside breach. You can purchase goods from his shop before venturing past the outer walls toward the Stormveil Cliffside Site of Grace.

   Watch out: Slaying Gatekeeper Gostoc now permanently locks you out of his merchant stock and an Ancient Dragon Smithing Stone later.

2. 2

   Ascending the Cliffside and Wine Cellar

   Work your way along the cliffside path and into the lower levels of the interior wine cellar, where you can grab the Hookclaws from a corpse in the far ground-floor corner beneath the stairs and find the Brick Hammer on the overhead rafters. Continuing upward, you will get trapped in a dark wine storage room with an ambushing Banished Knight, where a floor corpse holds the Rusty Key and a corner chest yields the Curved Sword Talisman. Use your newly acquired key to unlock the door, clear the remaining rooms, and reach the Rampart Tower Site of Grace.

   Tip: Keep your guard up in the dark storage room, as the Banished Knight will ambush you as soon as you enter.

3. 3

   Rampart Rooftops, the Chapel, and Isolated Ledges

   Head out across the rooftops from the Rampart Tower area to jump onto a high watchtower guarded by commoners and birds, where a corpse beside a ladder holds the Claw Talisman. Visit the nearby interior chapel to meet Sorcerer Rogier, who sells sorceries and Ashes of War before you defeat the final boss. If you leap down an exterior wall gap to a secluded cliffside ledge, you will face an optional Crucible Knight guarding the Aspects of the Crucible: Horns incantation.

   Watch out: Purchase any desired sorceries or Ashes of War from Sorcerer Rogier before finishing the legacy dungeon's main boss.

4. 4

   The Scion's Dining Hall and Armory

   Advance from the Rampart Tower area into the banquet hall to defeat the Grafted Scion, making sure to open the chest in this hall for the Mimic's Veil. Search the adjacent room filled with hanging corpses to collect the Chrysalids' Memento from a pile of bodies. The Iron Whetblade is on a corpse sitting in front of the fireplace, while the Misericorde is looted from a corpse next to the Iron Whetblade.

   Watch out: Retrieve the Chrysalids' Memento before Roderika transforms into a spirit tuner at the Roundtable Hold, or it will become the Crimson Hood.

5. 5

   The Courtyard, Cellar Armory, and Liftside

   Enter the castle courtyard and fight your way down into the cellar, where another Imp Statue fog barrier hides a stockroom; open the chest on the left to gain the Godslayer's Seal. Proceed through the interior armory to discover the Liftside Chamber Site of Grace, then trigger the nearby elevator shortcut that travels up to the Rampart Tower. From the main courtyard, you can also explore toward the eastern gate to fight the Lion Guardian guarding the path toward the Divine Tower bridge.

6. 6

   The Subterranean Crypt

   Step outside the Liftside Chamber Site of Grace and drop down along the exterior ledges and rubble into the deep chasm below. Traverse the cavern to the lowest point of the subterranean crypt, home to a petrified face, and search the corpse beside this colossal mutated visage to acquire the Prince of Death's Pustule.

   Tip: Watch your fall when dropping along the rubble ledges from the Liftside Chamber to avoid lethal falling damage.

7. 7

   The Secluded Cell and Godrick the Grafted

   Returning to the upper castle grounds, locate Nepheli Loux inside an interior room situated off the open courtyard near the troll guards. Pass through the fog wall to defeat Godrick the Grafted in the courtyard before the throne room, then head down into the cellar passage past his arena to pick up the Shabriri Grape on the lower level.
