The short version
What matters
- •Collecting Euporia by descending the hidden beams and ledges below Spiral Rise all the way to upper Belurat.
- •Grabbing all Scadutree Fragments across Spiral Rise, the cascading balconies, the descent to Belurat, and Cleansing Chamber to maximize your blessing.
- •Equipping high Holy Damage negation talismans like the Golden Braid or Haligdrake Talisman +2 for Phase 2 of Radahn.
Common mistakes
- •Rolling backward away from Radahn in Phase 2; roll diagonally forward-left under his swords instead to escape the holy light trail explosions.
- •Neglecting to eliminate Leda's allies one by one as they appear, which causes you and your summons to get swarmed.
- •Holding onto Miquella's charm after a grab attack; use Miquella's Great Rune immediately to purge the mark before a second grab instantly ends the fight.
What you can skip
- •Refraining from summoning Sir Ansbach or Thiollier for Radahn if you wish to prevent increasing the boss's maximum health pool.
Walkthrough
The area in the order you play it. Tick things off as you go: they tick off in the checklists below too.
-
1
Enir-Ilim: Outer Wall and First Rise
When you arrive at the outer wall after burning the Sealing Tree, fight past Gravebirds and Shadow Undead on the grand staircase to reach the First Rise Site of Grace. Cross the fountain courtyard to the covered portico to claim a Revered Spirit Ash, then ascend the stairs to defeat the spiral-casting Hornsent sorcerer in the chamber ahead. Before leaving the area, explore the nearby patio and tree-shaman sanctuary to secure additional treasures.
Tip: Use heavy strikes to quickly break the poise of aggressive Horned Warriors and Curseblades.
-
2
Descent to Belurat
From the Spiral Rise, drop down the broken balustrade onto the rooftops and leap across ruined exterior buttresses, window ledges, and suspended beams down the outer tower toward upper Belurat. Navigate the lower elevators and beams to open the shortcut door near the Divine Beast Dancing Lion arena. Before taking the return lift back up, search the altar at the base of this secret drop path to claim the legendary twinblade.
Tip: Carefully line up every drop onto exterior columns and ledges to avoid falling into the abyss.
Watch out: Dropping carelessly down the outer buttresses can lead to fatal falls.
-
3
Central Plaza to Spiral Rise
Fight across the terraces, overgrown gardens, and water features guarded by Curseblades, Horned Warriors, and tree shamans while unlocking the shortcut elevator. Ascend the spiraling tower staircases until you discover the Spiral Rise Site of Grace and the Miquella Cross. Before pushing higher, check the immediate area under the cross for valuable upgrades.
Tip: Lure Horned Warriors away from groups of shamans so you do not get overwhelmed by spells.
-
4
Spiral Rise Rooftops
Head outside onto the rooftops under ranged fire from Sage casters and Divine Bird Warriors, crossing crumbling walkways and arches. Drop down the cascading balconies to collect the fragment, and search the high balustrades patrolled by a Divine Bird Warrior for upgrade materials. Before leaving, advance along the upper outdoor stairs to defeat the frost-attuned Divine Beast Warrior blocking your path forward.
Tip: Defeat the ranged casters first before committing to melee combat on narrow archways.
-
5
Cleansing Chamber Anteroom
Ascend the final stairs into the Cleansing Chamber Anteroom and activate its Site of Grace, making sure to grab the fragment resting right inside the room. Summon Sir Ansbach, Thiollier, or Sanguine Noble Nataan from their gold signs in the grand hallway before stepping into the arena. Engage Needle Knight Leda and her hostile companions, focusing down single targets with parries, backstabs, or knockdowns before additional combatants spawn.
Key fight: Needle Knight Leda and AlliesTip: Focus down agile damage dealers like Dryleaf Dane and Leda before tackling Moore behind his greatshield.
Watch out: Failing to defeat enemy NPCs quickly allows reinforcements to enter and overwhelm your summons.

6
The Staircase to the Gate of Divinity
Take the massive elevator upward and climb the grand staircase toward the fog gate framed by arching corpse-pillars. Speak with Sir Ansbach inside the Cleansing Chamber post-battle if he survived, and decide whether to call upon his or Thiollier's summon signs placed along the stairs. Rest and prepare high Holy Damage negation talismans alongside physical defense before crossing the threshold to face Promised Consort Radahn.
Key fight: Promised Consort Radahn / Radahn, Consort of MiquellaTip: Roll diagonally forward-left under Radahn's Phase 2 melee swings to evade the trailing beams of holy light.
Watch out: Being caught by Miquella's Phase 2 grab attack twice results in an immediate defeat via charm.
Choices here
What you decide here and what it leads to.
Summoning Allies for the Final Encounter
Outside the fog gate at the summit stairs
- Call upon Sir Ansbach and/or Thiollier→ Gains active combat assistance during the fight, but enlarges the boss's total health pool
- Refuse to summon them→ Faces the encounter alone without increasing the boss's health pool; their reward equipment still spawns on the floor following victory if their quests progressed to this point
Calling them in scales up the boss's maximum health

Enemies: Radahn, Consort of Miquella
Threats: Relentless physical combos and gravity pulls in phase one; massive holy AOE pillar bursts, clone illusions, and Miquella's grab attack in phase two
Weaknesses and resistances: Weak to Pierce; susceptible to Hemorrhage and Frostbite; highly resistant to Holy damage
Tactics: Equip the Golden Braid talisman for holy negation; dodge forward-left into his sword swings rather than backward; use a high-guard Greatshield with Holy affinity if dodging phase two light pillars proves too difficult
