1. 1

   Upper Courtyard and Graveyard

   When you arrive in the upper city courtyard and church ruin guarded by Fallen Hawks soldiers, search a graveyard located northwest of the central structures for loot on a corpse. You can also pick up Larval Tears inside a building southeast of the first site of grace and in a gazebo before reaching the bridge.

   Watch out: There are no merchants, vendors, or upgrade services anywhere in Nokron, Eternal City.

2. 2

   Mimic Tear Encounter

   Cross the bridge to battle the Mimic Tear boss to secure more Larval Tears upon its defeat.

   Tip: Defeating the Mimic Tear awards Larval Tears directly.

3. 3

   Ancestral Woods and Hallowhorn Grounds

   Head into the Ancestral Woods forest section to discover the Hallowhorn Grounds where six obelisk braziers are situated.

4. 4

   Hollowhorn Grounds Boss

   After lighting all six obelisk braziers, interact with the hollow carcass at the Hallowhorn Grounds to trigger the Regal Ancestor Spirit encounter. Defeating this boss rewards you with the Remembrance of the Regal Ancestor.

5. 5

   The Skeletal Throne and the Hidden Treasure

   Follow the monumental street until it terminates at a massive seated skeleton throne statue. Below this colossal skeleton, open the large treasure chest to claim the Fingerslayer Blade, which also drops additional Larval Tears from Silver Spheres in the vicinity.

   Tip: Silver Spheres encountered throughout the city drop Larval Tears when defeated.

   Watch out: You cannot open the chest holding the Fingerslayer Blade unless you have sworn service to Ranni the Witch, and handing it to her permanently locks out Preceptor Seluvis's questline.

6. 6

   Siofra Aqueduct Descent

   Head north from the Ancestral Woods past spirit jellyfish to reach the Aqueduct-Facing Cliffs Site of Grace, then drop down into the Siofra Aqueduct sub-dungeon.

7. 7

   Valiant Gargoyles and the Great Waterfall Basin

   Outside the boss arena on a balcony, you will find D's Twin Brother (Devin) curled up sitting before confronting the Valiant Gargoyle and Valiant Gargoyle (Twinblade), who drop the Gargoyle's Greatsword and Gargoyle's Twinblade. After defeating them, rest at the Great Waterfall Basin Site of Grace and climb into the nearby stone coffin to be transported to the Deeproot Depths at the Great Waterfall Crest.

   Key fight: Valiant Gargoyle & Valiant Gargoyle (Twinblade)
   The Siofra Aqueduct leads to a stone coffin past the Great Waterfall Basin; resting inside this coffin teleports the player directly to Deeproot Depths.
