The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition guide · Visiting the mining settlement in the Reach
← All areas in this guide
Karthwasten is a small silver mining settlement situated in the Reach, plagued by an armed dispute over control of its mines. Upon arriving, you encounter Silver-Blood mercenaries attempting to strong-arm the local mine owner into selling out, which you can resolve through persuasion, intimidation, or combat. Aside from handling the land dispute, you can mine silver ore and sell raw minerals to the local proprietors.
