FINAL FANTASY VIII guide · Optional visit for the Shumi sidequest
← All areas in this guide

Shumi Village is a secluded underground settlement located on Trabia's northern continent, accessible via an elevator inside a dome. Visiting here allows Squall and his party to undertake a multi-part sidequest assisting the Shumi Sculptor in carving a statue of Laguna. Completing the tasks around the village reveals lore about the Shumi life cycle and rewards the player with valuable items, including a Phoenix Pinion.
