Obel Lake is an optional location on the Galbadia continent where the party can trigger a lengthy worldwide scavenger hunt sidequest. Interacting with the center of the lake allows you to talk to a mysterious shadowy creature after humming or throwing rocks. The creature provides a series of cryptic clues that direct the player to travel across the world map to uncover rare treasures and Easter eggs.

You must physically step into the peninsula jutting into the center of Obel Lake and press the confirm button to prompt the interaction menu.
