Fisherman's Horizon

FINAL FANTASY VIII guide · A major story location after the Missile Base.

Balamb Garden crashes into the ocean settlement of Fisherman's Horizon, requiring Squall to apologize to Mayor Dobe and explore the town. Galbadian forces quickly invade the center of FH, forcing the party into battle to protect the pacifist citizens. After resolving the conflict, the party can recruit Irvine and Rinoa back, repair Balamb Garden, and participate in a late-night concert.

Ensure you check every party member's Junctions before running down the long railway track into the town square, as the boss fight against BGH251F2 begins immediately upon entering the area.
During the evening event, assign instruments to each party member to build a unified song (either Folk or Irish style) to influence the atmosphere of Squall and Rinoa's private conversation.
