Laguna, Kiros, and Ward explore a multi-level subterranean facility while working for the Galbadian army. The party must navigate walkways, interact with mechanical switches and trapdoors, and reach the exit point while fighting Esthar soldiers. Actions taken with the boulders and hatch doors here directly determine which items Squall's party can obtain when visiting the Lunatic Pandora later.

Manipulating the three hatch doors on the lower level will cause them to be open when Squall visits Lunatic Pandora later, granting access to draw points and items including a LuvLuv G.Tampering with the red switch on the detonator screen dislodges a boulder that uncovers a hidden pathway for Squall's team in the future.Tampering with the blue switch on the detonator rolls a different boulder, which uncovers another route and treasure chamber for the later Lunatic Pandora visit.Rolling the boulder resting on the cliffside wall near the top will push it aside, allowing Squall's party to access a Spd-J Scroll in the future.

Tips

Both Old Keys fall out of Laguna's pocket through holes in his pants, so you will lose them almost immediately after picking them up; this is completely normal and intended.
Laguna's squad fights consecutive Esthar Soldiers at the very end of the area, so ensure your party is fully healed before walking to the final cliff screen.
