During the Galbadian occupation of Balamb Town, the hotel serves as the temporary headquarters for Raijin and Fujin. Squall and his party must investigate the town, trace the scent of the commander using the hotel owner's dog, and return here to confront the occupying forces. Defeating Raijin outside triggers a boss battle inside the hotel against both Raijin and Fujin to liberate the town.

Inflicting Sleep or Blind on Raijin neutralizes most of his physical threat, allowing you to focus on Fujin.
