FINAL FANTASY IV guide · The path taken to reach Damcyan

Cecil and Rydia travel through this subterranean cavern alongside Tellah to reach the kingdom of Damcyan. The path consists of several flooded basement floors and waterfalls connected by stairways. Navigating the caves requires fighting water-dwelling monsters and culminates in an exit leading directly to the outskirts of Damcyan Castle.

Tips

Tellah has access to high-level elemental magic, making him ideal for targeting the elemental weaknesses of the monsters here.
Resting at the save point on B3F allows you to use a Tent to fully restore the party before tackling the Octomammoth boss fight.
